TGIF

Ok, I am really not as miserable as I may sound this is really my only outlet so it all compounds here. Here is a little bit of a more up beat participatory entry. My good friend and supporter "Joe The Minister" has an awesome blog. I can't help but to copy a little of it. Every friday he started a little trend where he asks his friends a question. Here is mine...
What is the best 1/2 hour sit com ever made and why do you think so???

Seinfeld without question and Family Guy close. Why b/c it is brilliant and funny. Plus Seinfeld is made for a NY audience. I don't think Kansas can understand the Soup Nazi or 1st and 1st "Jerry I am at the nexus of the universe".

Hmmmm...tough one...I would have to say The Golden Girls. I just love all of them! -Kelly

It was "Our Miss Brooks" staring Eve Arden. I doubt any of your readers remember that one, but it was and still is the longest running sitcom ever. It ran for 18 years. This sitcom was the teacher and forerunner for all situations in any comedy today. There has not been a topic that was not originally done on that show. With the exception of modern day themes like divorce, extended families, etc.

Seinfield all the way~
he made real life situations and turned them into something so funny. I love the one where he forgot his girlfriends name but knew it sounded like a femail body park, and how about that Soup Nazi... Makes me want to visit New York!

Jack said All in the Family because it was way ahead of its time and as real as it gets. I know everyone loves Seinfeld but it is my all time favorite till date. Whenever I wanna laugh before bed I just throw on a little Seinfeld and I am the master of my domain.

My favorite 30 minute sit com would have to be The Simpsons. Actually mom, its The Simpson's that is the longest running sit-com as it just had their 20 year anniversay!!! My favorite part of the show is during the opening credits Bart always has a phrase that he writes on the chalkboard and its different for every single episode.
I will not instigate a revolution.
I will not draw naked ladies in class.
I will not Xerox my butt.
I will not trade pants with others.
I will not do that thing with my tongue.
I will not drive the principal's car.
I will not pledge allegiance to Bart.
I will not sell school property.
I did not see Elvis.

Anyway, you get the picture.

Seinfeld-best ever. My favorite was "the contest". George gets caught masturbating in his parents apartment and the four of them try to see who can abstain the longest. So classic.
